What makes Afora different from traditional dental insurance?
Afora is not insurance; it’s a complete dental care plan. As a member, your monthly cost covers all of your preventative care including cleanings, X-rays and an annual exam. Should you need additional care, such as a filling, you can quickly search for a trusted provider in your neighborhood and know exactly what pre-negotiated discounted fee you’ll pay after your service. No deductibles, no maximums, no confusion - just quality care and transparent pricing.
Who can become an Afora member?

Where is Afora available?

What is the difference between the Basic and Premium Plans?
The Afora Basic Plan costs just $25 per month and includes 2 cleanings, an annual exam, and an annual X-ray by one of our dental professionals in our trusted network. For any additional work needed, you will also have access to our pre-negotiated discounted fee schedule that saves you hundreds vs. traditional insurance.
The Afora Premium Plan costs $45 per month and includes everything in the Basic Plan plus an additional 2 cleanings (for a total of 4 cleanings per year), unlimited $150 credits towards whitening treatments, and a $1,000 credit towards Orthodontics through participating providers.

What is Afora Total Care?

With Afora Total Care, you get everything included in your selected plan (Basic or Premium), plus an Oral-B Pro 3000 Electric toothbrush and a year’s supply of Cross-Action brush heads at 20% off retail - making Afora Total Care the best option to meet all of your dental needs.

What dentists are in my network?
Afora is a network created by dentists, so we know the good ones when we see them! We have worked hard to find the top dentists in Manhattan and beyond based on our Afora interviewing and ratings system. Member feedback is also coming soon! Use our Provider Search to quickly search for a trusted provider in your neighborhood.
What if I need to see a Specialist?
Specialists are coming soon to the Afora network! In the interim, our Afora General Dentists will be happy to refer you to a trusted Specialist as needed.
How does my Afora billing cycle work?
Three months of your annual fees will be billed upon enrollment. Three months later, you’ll then be charged $25 per month (Basic Plan) or $45 per month (Premium Plan) for the next nine months. If you decided to upgrade to Total Care, you’ll be charged $30 per month (Basic Plan + Total Care) or $50 per month (Premium Plan + Total Care). Unless you cancel, your Plan will automatically renew on your enrollment date anniversary.
If I upgrade to Afora Total Care, when will I receive my Oral-B Pro 3000?
You should receive you Oral-B Pro 3000 Electric toothbrush and a year’s supply of replacement brush heads within 1-2 weeks of enrolling with Afora. Your order will be shipped via UPS Ground.

How do I log into my account?
Login to your Afora account by visiting www.aforacare.com to see your remaining plan benefits, view your visit history, mark your favorite office as ‘Preferred’, grant and revoke access to offices and to view our competitive rates for additional services.
